Size the OnWeb window automatically to fill my browser window
Right now an OnWeb application always defaults to 800x600, no matter how big your browser is. People with larger screens would appreciate more space.
(You can also configure the default size with URL options, like with ?width=1024&height=768)

Allow the send object function to send emails
I have a database which generates an email to me when I have a new user request. Access has a function (Send Object) which provides this capability but depends on an standard interface to an email tool. This capability would also allow me to run a query and send the result as an attachment to an email.

Work with iphone, ipad via Safari
This would be great if it worked on th eApple platform via their browser. I have many clients that want to use databases via this platform but Apple has no MS Access database option.

add the ability to download a backup of the mdb for offline storage
If I wanted to backup / move the online DB somewhere, I would need a backup/copy. . . Add this option!

Auto-close open database objects when I press 'EQL Synchronize'
When I press 'EQL synchronize', it sometimes complains that I have open objects. It would be nice if the button could ask to close them for me automatically, or refuse to synchronize if I haven't closed them myself.
3 votesWe plan to include this functionality in our next release, likely during the week of November 9.

Usage Statistics
I would like to get some statistics for usage of my database. I recognize EQLData does not identify users but I believe the user IP address is available. Even start/stop statistics by IP address would be some help. I control usage within database. I can easily log the start time of a user but I don't get the stop time unless the user chooses the Exit menu item I provide. Experience shows most users just close the web page when they are done.

Better version control interface for viewing which data was changed at what time
EQL tracks all the revisions made to a database and you can view the list of revisions, but it's hard to see who made which revisions and what they changed.

Translate to non-English languages
What non-English languages are most important? What parts of the system need to be translated to work for you?

Support unicode or non-latin-1 character sets and code pages
It looks like your system doesn't work with Access databases that use non-English characters.

Optionally share .mdb file between OnWeb sessions
Currently all OnWeb sessions use separate copies of the .mdb file, and merge their changes into the central copy when done. This minimizes any file locking problems, but has the odd behaviour that changes in one session aren't visible to another session until both sessions restart. For some apps, this is fine, and for others, it's a real pain.
It would be nice if you could just share the .mdb file across all OnWeb sessions. This could cause complications when the developer wants to upload a new version, however.

Allow the database owner to control the timeout period
Since I, the database owner, am paying for all usage of my database I believe I should be able to control the timeout period so my users are not wasteful of my expense.

Support for Microsoft Foxpro
You support Access... why not Foxpro too?

Ability to compose new Query objects using a pure web view
Right now we can sync Access databases to the web and view queries, but not make custom queries just for the web. It would be nice if we could just do that.

Split development/production app versions
When I'm developing the app, I just want to use a small set of test data, and I want to test replication without upsetting the people using the old version of my app. How can I have two versions of the same app?

Don't use the Access storage engine
I don't trust anything that stores data directly in the Access databases - I've been bitten too many times. You should use linked tables to a real database instead. If you can make all that automatic, then even better.

Let me use PowerPoint in EQL OnWeb
I can run Access apps in OnWeb... but wouldn't it be cool if I could run PowerPoint? It would basically be a live whiteboard, but with powerpoint, and no plugins to install.
